Our story
A moving firm that belongs to SW11
Battersea Removals grew out of a simple observation: the moves that go wrong here go wrong for local reasons. A lorry sent to a block with a goods-lift rota nobody checked. A crew that has never met a Prince of Wales Drive staircase. A quote read off a screen that swells the moment the van arrives. We built a firm to move Battersea households the way SW11 actually is — grand and cramped by turns, busy, and worth the care.
Where we come from
We’re based in Battersea and we work the SW11 pockets — Battersea Square and Old Battersea, the Park side and Prince of Wales Drive, the family streets between the commons, the Rise and Latchmere. Between us the crew has carried more mansion flats and family houses than we could count, from lift-only top floors to houses where the piano came in before the front door went on.
The same firm runs a European relocation arm, because a fair number of the households we pack aren’t staying in London — they’re bound for France, Spain, Switzerland or Germany, and they want the people who packed the box to be the people who deliver it.
How we’d rather work
Carefully enough to leave the communal parts as we found them. Locally enough to know which porter needs notice and which street takes a lorry. Plainly enough that you always know what’s happening and what it costs. We answer our own phone and quote our own jobs — the person you speak to first sees your move through.
We won’t dress the firm up with things that aren’t true. There are no invented review counts on this site, no award badges we didn’t earn, no press logos we can’t stand behind. When real reviews and credentials arrive, they’ll go here — and not before.
