Which parts of Battersea and SW11 do you cover?
All of it — Battersea Square and Old Battersea, the Park side and Prince of Wales Drive, Battersea Rise, the streets between the commons, Northcote Road, Latchmere and Clapham Junction. We also work the SW11 borders into SW8, SW4 and SW18. For moves abroad we collect from across London.
How do I get a quote, and will you give me a figure over the phone?
Fill in the quote form with the basics, or call us. We don’t read out a number before we understand the job — that’s how estimates end up changing on the day. Instead we take your details, talk through anything tricky like access, and send a written quote you can rely on.
Can you move a mansion flat with no lift or a shared entrance?
That’s a big part of what we do in Battersea. Many of the Park-side and Prince of Wales Drive blocks are stairs-only or lift-restricted, with shared halls and porters to work around. We plan the carry, protect the communal parts, book any lift or loading window, and bring the right kit for an awkward staircase.
Do you pack, or do I arrange that myself?
We pack as much or as little as you like — a full service down to the last picture, or just the fragile and awkward items while you box the everyday things. Tell us which suits you and we’ll price the move accordingly.
Is parking around the commons and Northcote Road a problem on moving day?
It can be, and it’s exactly the sort of thing local knowledge sorts out. We know where a lorry can sit, where a suspension or permit is worth arranging, and how the controlled-parking zones work around the commons. We plan it before the day so the van isn’t circling.
Do you offer storage if there’s a gap between homes?
Yes. If your dates don’t line up — common in a chain — we can store your belongings securely and complete the move when you’re ready. It’s also useful for holding a part-load before an international departure.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry goods-in-transit and public liability cover, and we’ll confirm the details in writing with your quote. If your move includes anything of unusual value — art, an antique, an instrument — tell us so it’s properly accounted for.
Do you move abroad as well as locally?
We do. Alongside local SW11 moves we run a European relocation arm — France, Spain, Switzerland and Germany have their own dedicated pages. We handle the packing, the customs paperwork and delivery to the door at the far end.
